Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 April 2026

SAR Studio is a pre-launch product. Right now, this site exists to gauge interest from UK businesses who deal with employee Subject Access Requests. We're keeping data collection to the absolute minimum needed to do that. This page explains what we collect, why, and what your rights are.

Who we are

SAR Studio is a project run by Scott Roberts, based in the United Kingdom. If you'd like to get in touch about anything in this policy — including data requests — email hello@sarstudio.co.uk.

What we collect

If you join the waitlist, we collect:

We do not use third-party advertising trackers or marketing cookies on this site. The only cookies that may be set are functional ones from the form embed (Tally), needed for the form to work. We are not currently running analytics. If we ever turn on Netlify's built-in analytics or add another analytics tool, we'll update this page first.

Why we collect it

We use your email for two things, and two things only:

The lawful basis for processing under UK GDPR is your consent, given when you submitted the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time.

Who we share it with

We use the following third-party services to run the waitlist:

If we add other services in future (for example, an email tool to actually send the launch email), we'll update this page before doing so.

We will not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or pass it to anyone else.

How long we keep it

We keep your email until SAR Studio launches and we've contacted you, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. If the project doesn't go ahead, we'll delete the waitlist entirely and let you know.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

For any of the above, email hello@sarstudio.co.uk. We'll respond within 30 days — which, given what we're building, would be deeply embarrassing to miss.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything material, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. If the change affects how we use data you've already given us, we'll email you before it takes effect.
